California Historical Landmarks:
are buildings, structures, sites, or places that have statewide significance. The Golden Gate Bridge started in 1933 and completed in 1937 by engineer Joseph Strauss and architect Irving Morrow is an extraordinarily beautiful bridge with the greatest attention to artistic detail. This world renowned bridge's 4,200 feet of clear span (from tower to tower) was the longest in the world until 1959. Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, and vast wilderness area.

Welcome

Assemblyman Anderson gives an official “State of California Scholastic Achievement Award” to Charlie Sallee.

Thank you for visiting my website!

I’m honored to represent San Diego’s East County in the State Assembly and I hope you’ll take a moment to read about what I’m fighting for on behalf of taxpayers.

Perhaps my most important responsibility is to provide fast, excellent responses to constituents who contact me. If you have a problem with state government, or a question about an issue, my staff or I will get back to you within 48 hours.

That is my personal guarantee to you.

  • My top priority is to provide some much needed straight talk for the politicians up here.
  • As a father of three I’m concerned about the world and society our children are growing up in. I’ve authored legislation to strengthen Megan’s Law.
  • I have introduced ACR 115 to support homeschools, and invite you to join me by supporting that resolution.
  • I’m committed to ending taxpayer funded benefits for illegal immigrants.
  • I’m working to divest California’s $24 billion investment in roughly 300 foreign owned companies doing business in Iran. My Assembly Bill 221 will end our investments with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Learn more about the effort to call upon the University of California to follow the spirit and intent of AB 221.
  • I believe the politicians in both parties are too loose with our hard earned tax dollars.

I encourage you to contact me at (619) 441-2322, or at (916) 319-2077. We are committed to assisting you in any way we can. Please subscribe to my e-newsletter which provides periodic updates regarding events and issues that affect us.

Please feel free to call, or e-mail me any time with any questions, or concerns. Thank you, and please let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you. My door is always open because I work for you. Thank you.
