are buildings, structures, sites, or places that have statewide significance. The Golden Gate Bridge started in 1933 and completed in 1937 by engineer Joseph Strauss and architect Irving Morrow is an extraordinarily beautiful bridge with the greatest attention to artistic detail. This world renowned bridge's 4,200 feet of clear span (from tower to tower) was the longest in the world until 1959. Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, and vast wilderness area.
Welcome
Thank you for taking time to explore my website. Please feel free to read about my background and investigate bills going through the legislative process. I encourage you to contact my offices with any state-related issues or concerns you might have.
I am honored and thrilled to serve you and the Seventy-Second District as a California State Assemblyman. My experiences as a Yorba Linda City Councilman, Orange County Transportation Authority Director, Orange County Sanitation District Director, local Chamber of Commerce President, and small business owner have given me a unique understanding of the strict regulatory environment Californians endure and a strong will to inspire and reinforce change.
Infrastructure, public safety, economic development, education, border security, property rights, and responsible budgeting are just some of the issues I have championed here in Orange County. I am eager to continue to tackle these issues in Sacramento, using insights gleaned from local successes to apply to state concerns.
Again, I thank you for your interest in your state government. I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Michael D. Duvall
