are buildings, structures, sites, or places that have statewide significance. The Golden Gate Bridge started in 1933 and completed in 1937 by engineer Joseph Strauss and architect Irving Morrow is an extraordinarily beautiful bridge with the greatest attention to artistic detail. This world renowned bridge's 4,200 feet of clear span (from tower to tower) was the longest in the world until 1959. Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, and vast wilderness area.
Welcome
A few months ago I was approached by the UC Berkeley School of Law to contribute a scholarly piece on nuclear power as a solution to global warming. The piece entitled, “Relative Risk: Global Warming and Imported Fossil Fuels vs. Nuclear Power,” is in the inaugural edition of the “Ecology Law Currents” publication.
In addition, the Orange County Register published an editorial in strong support of my nuclear energy legislation, AB 1776 and AB 2788:
On May 13th, I had the pleasure to attend and contribute information at the Alternative Energy Panel at UC Irvine. At the conference, I presented information on Nuclear Power.
