In Our 64th Assembly District:
Located in the heart of downtown Riverside, the Mission Inn is one of Southern California’s great treasures. Built in the nineteenth century when Riverside was booming from the citrus industry, the ornate Spanish-styled hotel has been home to a rich history of famous guests, Presidential visits, and weddings. The Carillon Bell Tower is an icon overlooking the campus of the University of California, Riverside. Riverside County encompasses diverse natural areas. Here, the San Jacinto Mountains provide the scenic backdrop to the Coachella Valley, a desert basin home to over half a million people.

Safe Escape DVDs Now Available

I have teamed up with fellow retired law enforcement expert Bob Stuber to produce a half-hour television program featuring “Safe Escape,” a show that is aimed at helping parents teach their children how to recognize threats from unfamiliar adults and safely escape from kidnap attempts. This program, which has long-been a feature on local cable stations, is available, free-of-charge in DVD format, by calling my District Office at (951) 369-6644 and requesting a copy.
